Tig Stainless Ltd specialise in high-quality, full-penetration, butt welds on stainless-steel tube, and high pressure ASME IX welding on stainless-steel schedule pipe. Our investment in oxygen meters—to monitor the atmosphere inside the purged pipe prior to welding—ensures quality and repeatability.

We are coded TIG—Tungsten Inert Gas welders—and hold BS EN 287, ASME IX and AS/NZS 2980:2007 welding qualifications in mild steel and stainless steel. We can weld not only stainless steel, but also titanium, aluminium and mild steel.

Tig Stainless Ltd specialises in offering project-surveying /management services using our highly-accurate survey equipment. We can mark all the grid locations from your CAD drawing onto the real-life building structure enabling tradespersons to work from correct datum points. This is especially valuable on new builds when a lot of premade process plant arrives from off-site locations.

We offer tube and pipe cutting services, and can accurately cut tube or pipe perfectly square from 12.7mm (1/2”) through to 152.4mm (6”)

We measure and manufacture our pipework in a planned and strategic way, so that, where possible, detailed grid location, and coordinate measurements are taken on site. Away from any process areas, the pipe run is calculated, assembled, purged of oxygen using argon and then fitted. After TIG welding, pipes are cleaned, and brought back to fit perfectly in place. This faster, more efficient process reduces traffic through factory redlines, ensures good forward planning and precision, and almost eliminates welding and cutting equipment in your process area. We hold AS/NZS 2980:2007 qualifications for fusion welding of steels.

We have partnered with a trusted laser-cutting firm so that any specialist components required are just a few clicks away, and arrive in our workshop ready for further working and welding. This economical arrangement translates to lower cost to our customers, and is in tune with our lean manufacturing philosophy. Our laser-cut components offer extremely competitive pricing.

Tig Stainless Ltd has invested in clever tooling and hydraulic equipment which means we can make our own tube tees. This reduces the potential cost of two welds in some situations, and the ability to put tube tees into the side of a tube bend. We can also make pulled manifolds to suit your requirements.

Often signs in harsh environments do not last. Tig Stainless Ltd can make sure that your important signage for critical-hygiene areas like waste chutes, tank numbers, and milk-filling machines (to name a few) have an extremely clear and permanent sign-writing solution. By using ceramic laser-etch (black) process signs which are then welded on to an item of machinery, potential for bacterial growth is reduced if not eliminated. Using this technology, we have made visual indicators for process machinery that has regular operator tool changes—like milk-filling machines—ensuring that machine set-up results are repeatable. Our specialist knowledge in this niche market means we are highly tuned into requirements in critical-hygiene areas.
