Fonterra – Pahiatua P3
Working for GEA, Tig Stainless Ltd participated in the layout of grid locations from CAD drawings to real building construction and fitting of datum plates. We marked out the pipe centre positions for the main pipe risers, positioned tanks and homogenisers, and manufactured numerous valve manifolds and running-process pipework. Tig Stainless Ltd made detailed CIP process-valve manifolds and developed on site and welded in the powder-bin, explosion-door flashings.
Proliant Pharmaceutical – Feilding
Tig Stainless Ltd marked out and positioned tanks and equipment, piping up many process valve manifolds, as well as all stainless hot water pipes to HVAC units. Our team fitted and welded hundreds of meters of stainless-steel process pipework, making hot-water expansion tanks and various other components as required. Our tasks also included extensive work on the main dryer installation and fluid beds.
Anzco Foods
Tig Stainless Ltd assisted in the major cutting-room renewal. We produced and modified conveyors, ran glycol and water lines, and made various guards, chutes and visual display units. Leading the way with consistently high standards and attention to detail, Tig Stainless Ltd continues to work on major developments with Anzco Foods and are currently completing a full room survey including marking reference points to streamline future projects.
Fonterra – Longburn
Working with Tetrapak and NDA, Tig Stainless Ltd worked on a large installation of milk ultra filtration plant. We marked out machine positions, welding up numerous valve manifolds—including the main milk silo 6” valve manifolds. We ran hundreds of meters of process pipework as well as manufacturing and fitting the tanker loading bay.
Goodman Fielder – Longburn
Working with Almac, Tig Stainless Ltd carried out the process pipework and installed two yogurt heat exchangers. We made vessels and glycol pipework and cladding. We’ve carried out various projects and maintenance works at Goodman Fielder.
Fonterra Brands
We’ve completed numerous maintenance tasks and small projects on the ice-cream and milk-filling, and process waste-water plant. We’ve recently installed two milk crate accumulator machines, provided critical-hygiene area signage, and installed guarding for health and safety standard compliance.
NIG Nutritionals – Pukekohe
Tig Stainless Ltd worked from a detailed 3D drawing supplied by Food and Dairy systems. With a site visit to take some accurate measurements, we completed an off-site manufacture of the process-steam pipework for the powder-dryer air heater units. Our work standard required job traceability of all ASME IX welded and material certified parts. We also manufactured a stainless hot-water system header-tank.
Fonterra Research
Tig Stainless Ltd worked with Dematic to install an experimental pasteuriser and direct-steam injection unit. We positioned and ran all services including ASME IX stainless-steel steam and condensate lines. Our skilled workers made intricate process pipework with purged butt welds of tube fittings with an inside diameter of just three millimetres. Tig Stainless Ltd has ongoing projects working alongside Dematic.
Miraka Dairy factory
Working with Thermaflo, Tig Stainless Ltd has worked on fitting and purge welding of 4” permeate process lines.
AFFCO
Making manifolds to upgrade the water softener, cladding ducts and offal shoots, Tig Stainless Ltd continues with ongoing projects for AFFCO.
